A roller coaster ride is too simplistic a description for this novel. It has plot twists, changes in locations and diversions that are all interconnected. There is also intense action in multiple countries coupled with the inside intricacies of the White House being exposed. Add in an equal amount of some truly evil characters as well as the top secret counterterrorist unit that is known as Taskforce. Then, the gallop is on for the reader as well as Pike and Logan. At the beginning of this book, the first real twist occurs when Taskforce is fired which leaves Pike wondering about the reason. This is short lived, however, when Colonel Kurt Hale needs both of them to assist in locating his niece, Kylie in England. This is only a piece of a broadening puzzle as there are other relatives of both the military and US government being targeted.
