A little background ... Emory, a well known doctor, disappears while training for an upcoming marathon. Her husband doesn't immediately report her missing. Meanwhile, Emory awakes in a strangers company.
What follows is a story that is not always what it seems. Brown delivers a fast-paced read with believable characters sometimes so believable I was ready to throttle them myself. Wait until you get to the final twist. I for one didn't see it coming. I love it when I think I've got it all figured out and the author throws in that last surprise!
A fantastic read that will appeal to all mystery/thriller readers who like a little romance thrown in.
